Workshop: Faculty planning for retirement benefits
Do you need help planning for your retirement?
Alanna Troup, benefits administrator intermediate from the U-M Human Resources Benefits Office, will present on topics for faculty such as retirement eligibility, benefits in retirement, retiree contributions to health care, phased retirement and retirement furloughs, along with additional U-M benefits in retirement.
A Q&A session will follow.
Margaret Gyetko, M.D., senior associate dean for faculty and faculty development, professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, will also be on-hand to answer any questions faculty might have regarding retirement or becoming emeritus faculty.
Additionally, a team from TIAA and Fidelity will be present to answer any questions about your U-M retirement plan and can be available for 1:1 discussions on site.
