Workshop: Improve your scientific writing
The Program for Neurology Research & Discovery and the Office of Faculty Development are pleased to offer this workshop presented by Phillip Leventhal, Ph.D., editor-in-chief of Medical Writing.
Through a combination of lecture and exercises, participants in this workshop will receive an introduction to medical and scientific writing for journals and grants including:
- How to start and move forward: from problem statements to outlines to a logical text.
- Techniques to clarify writing at a sentence, paragraph, and document level.
- Guiding your reader with visual elements.
- Putting these into practice through group or full-class exercises
