Update: Staircase to M29 parking lot now open

Good news — the concrete staircase leading from the pit parking lot (M29) to East Medical Center Drive has been reopened!

A maintenance project to replace the stairs is now complete and has improved the safety and longevity of the staircase for those who park in M29.

“There have been several improvements made during the project,”  “New gutters and drains should eliminate standing water on the stairs and landings, while concrete benches have been provided at most of the landings for sitting. Finally, new LED lighting has been installed to better light the stairway and provide improved safety and security.”
