Celebrity chef to again host CHAMPS for Mott culinary gala

David Burtka, left, will again host the CHAMPS for Mott fundraiser.
All Michigan Medicine faculty and staff are invited to the fifth annual CHAMPS for Mott fundraiser! The event — which is a culinary gala with mouthwatering fare hosted inside the Delta Air Lines hangar at Detroit Metro Airport — will be held on Sept. 29 and benefit C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital.
The gala will once again be hosted by celebrity chef and actor David Burtka, best known for hosting “Celebrity Dish” on the Cooking Channel and for his role in “How I Met Your Mother.”
Proceeds will support the creation of a hybrid operating room at Mott. The new OR will combine the latest MRI and catheterization technologies with open surgery to provide safer, more complete care for the young patients who need it most.

Faculty and staff are able to purchase tickets at a discounted rate of $250 (maximum two).
To purchase discounted tickets, contact Rachel Wildt at rawildt@med.umich.edu or 734-763-1670.
CHAMPS for Mott is presented by Delta Air Lines and Lexus of Ann Arbor.
