Celebrate Medical Laboratory Professionals Week at Michigan Medicine

April 9, 2018  //  FOUND IN: Updates & Resources

Medical Laboratory Professionals Week originated in 1975 in an effort to raise public understanding and appreciation of the impact of the laboratory as it relates to a patient’s diagnosis and care.

Indeed, laboratorians play a vital role as a member of the health care team at Michigan Medicine and across the globe.

With that in mind, the Department of Pathology has planned a full week of engaging activities from April 22-28 to recognize and educate everyone on the excellent patient care laboratories provide. The events are open to all Michigan Medicine faculty and staff:

  • 9th Clinical Pathology Symposium, 7 a.m. – 10 a.m., April 23, Danto Auditorium (Register via MLearning).
