Upcoming seminar highlights cancer research

Throughout Michigan Medicine, there are remarkable stories of discoveries and achievements in basic science, clinical and translational research. The Frontier Seminar Series, hosted by Bishr Omary, M.D., Ph.D., vice dean for research, provides a platform for storytelling and sharing important work.

The next seminar in the series will be held Wednesday, March 14, at 4 p.m. in the Ford Auditorium at University Hospital.

The event will feature Qing Li, M.D., Ph.D., assistant professor, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology and Department of Cell and Developmental Biology; Tycel Phillips, M.D., assistant professor, Internal Medicine – Hematology/Oncology; and Eric Fearon, M.D., Ph.D., Emanuel N. Maisel Professor of Oncology, professor, Departments of Internal Medicine, Human Genetics, and Pathology, director, U-M Comprehensive Cancer Center.

The trio will present the latest in the area of cancer research. The seminar will be followed by a catered reception.
