Mixed methods research combines investigations into what can be easily measured with discovery of that which is yet unknown. Social work practice is based on discovering patients’ needs so that a plan for intervention can be made.
Michigan Medicine faculty and staff are invited to attend an upcoming presentation that will demonstrate how combining social work skills with learning how to use validated measures can enhance social work knowledge and social work practice.
The presentation will be led by Daniela Wittmann, Ph.D., M.S.W., clinical assistant professor for urology surgery.
When: 3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 7
Where: Ford Auditorium
