Michigan Medicine earns statewide patient safety award

Congratulations to Michigan Medicine, which has earned the 2018 Hospital Patient Safety Award for Excellence. The honor was awarded by the Economic Alliance for Michigan (EAM) and went to only eight hospitals statewide.

The organizations were recognized for consistently achieving high marks in patient safety and quality of care. For instance, the hospitals must have received straight “A’s” from the Leapfrog Group in hospital safety for four consecutive grading terms.
