Healthcare Administration Scholars Program makes call for applications

March 6, 2018  //  FOUND IN: Updates & Resources

The Healthcare Administration Scholars Program (HASP) is pleased to announce its call for applications. HASP is an innovative program that will provide participants with a longitudinal training (20-month mini-fellowship) experience concentrating in the area of health care administration. It is open to all U-M house officers (residents and fellows).

The primary goal of HASP is to better prepare graduates to assume and succeed in academic positions with a focus in health care administration at leading academic medical centers. Additionally, the program will allow participants to establish strong mentoring relationships in their chosen area of study, a network for future collaboration, and serve as a stepping stone to pursue further graduate study if desired.

Program participants will begin to develop the knowledge base and skill set required for them to be successful as the next generation of physician leaders. Click here for a descriptive overview of the program along with an application form.

The deadline for submission is 5 p.m. on Monday, March 12. Applicants and programs will be notified by Monday, March 19.
