Attend inaugural Frances and Kenneth Eisenberg research lecture
Join the U-M Depression Center on Thursday, April 5 from 4:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. in the Danto Auditorium for the inaugural Frances and Kenneth Eisenberg Research Prize presentation and lecture.
In August 2017, Karl Deisseroth, M.D., Ph.D., was awarded the U-M Depression Center’s Inaugural Frances and Kenneth Eisenberg Translational Research Prize. The newly established award was intended for a world-renowned scientist and honors breakthrough research accomplishments that advance knowledge in the understanding of underlying mechanisms and treatments in depressions, bipolar illnesses or related mood disorders.
At this lecture, Deisseroth will present on “Nature’s gift: How the discovery of structural principles in a microbial protein helped illuminate the pathophysiology of psychiatry.”
