Learn about funding opportunity through Taubman Institute

February 1, 2018  //  FOUND IN: Updates & Resources

The Taubman Institute is pleased to announce an exciting new funding opportunity for researchers across the university.

The institute aims to support new or existing teams of scientists seeking to integrate their research programs into the clinic setting via methods ranging from biological specimen collection to patient data analysis. Its goal is to perform systematic, multiscale phenotyping to gain insights into individual variation in the susceptibility, progression, course or outcomes of disease.

Nominations are welcome from all members of the U-M community. The first step is to submit a letter of intent describing the nature and goals of your project.

The institute will hold two town hall meetings to describe the mission of these new grants and to answer questions from interested researchers:

  • Tuesday, Feb. 13, noon – 1 p.m, BSRB Room 4515
  • Thursday, Feb. 15, 4 p.m. – 5 p.m., BSRB Room 2515

No registration is required for the town hall sessions.
