Faculty, staff wear red to support cardiovascular disease research, education
Heart disease and stroke kills 1 in 3 women, yet it’s 80 percent preventable.
To raise awareness for cardiovascular disease research and education and help support efforts to end the disease, many Michigan Medicine faculty and staff members are wearing red today.
As part of the day’s festivities, a photographer will be touring the Frankel Cardiovascular Center to take photos of faculty and staff proudly displaying their red.
Thank you to everyone who is participating and raising awareness for this important issue!
