Galens Tag Days are around the corner!
December is quickly approaching, which means Galens Tag Days are almost here!
This medical school tradition is 91 years old, dating back to 1927. Each year, during the first weekend in December, medical students brave the cold Michigan weather to raise money for a variety of children’s organizations in Washtenaw county. Last year, the organization raised more than $90,000.
You can help the students top that in 2017!
This year’s Tag Days will take place from Nov. 30 until Dec. 2. Look for medical students donning red ponchos throughout the medical campus and downtown Ann Arbor. Donors receive a colorful tag to place on their jacket showing support for the event. One hundred percent of the donations go to selected children’s organizations.
