The Rita Allen Foundation Scholars Program supports early-career scientists with up to $110,000 annually for a maximum of five years. The program aims to advance transformative ideas at their earliest stages in basic biomedical research in the fields of cancer, immunology and neuroscience.

The Rita Allen Scholars Program provides scientists with the resources to focus on exploring and embracing innovative research with above-average risk and groundbreaking solutions.

U-M has been invited this year to nominate one faculty who is in the early stage of their career (e.g., recent appointment at faculty level). Postdocs and associate professors are not encouraged to apply.
