Apply for Mallinckrodt Scholar Program
The Edward Mallinckrodt, Jr. Foundation's Mallinckrodt Scholar Program supports early-stage investigators engaged in biomedical research that has the potential to significantly advance the understanding, diagnosis or treatment of disease.
The Scholar Award will provide $100,000 annually for a maximum of four years. The funds are designed to provide start-up support for a project to move it forward to the point where an R01 or other independent funding can be obtained.
The university has been invited this year to nominate two faculty members who are in their fifth to eighth year of a tenure track position, and hold an M.D. and/or Ph.D.
