Health Information Technology & Services (HITS) and the Michigan Medicine Office of Research are pleased to offer free training for the Electronic Research Notebook. The ERN will be available at no cost to all Michigan Medicine faculty, students, and staff beginning Nov. 1.

The ERN offers researchers the benefits, efficiencies, security and long-term cost savings of centralized, paperless data storage. Users can manage their labs efficiently, protect intellectual property, secure collaboration and easily track samples.

There will be two training sessions that are free and open to anyone at Michigan Medicine and no registration is required. These classes will introduce LabArchives, including adding, sharing, and managing data in the ERN. Participants are welcome to ask their own questions.

  • Thursday, Nov. 2: 9-10 a.m., Taubman Health Sciences Library, room 5320

  • Thursday, Nov. 2: 1:30-3 p.m., North Campus Research Complex, Building 10 — Research Auditorium

For more information, email the HITS LabRATS team, visit the ERN website or view the HITS Knowledge Base for set up, best practices and archiving.

The Electronic Research Notebook is managed by LabArchives.
