October’s healthy eating tip focuses on sports nutrition
Are you a weekend warrior, occasional runner or athlete wanting that extra edge to help your performance?
Whatever the circumstance, the October Healthy Eating Tip of the Month display in the UH cafeteria will provide you with advice to help you meet your workout or sports nutrition goals. The display contains handouts with information about what to eat before, during and after exercise; how to choose and use sport products (sport drinks, bars, gels, etc.); hydration and exercise; and how to navigate the world of sport supplements.
Also, enter for a chance to win a prize that will further help you understand and reach your health goals. At the end of the month, there will be a drawing to win a sports nutrition book with recipes by a Registered Sports Dietitian Nutritionist, and a steel water bottle!
