Geometric paperweights on display at UH

David Helm worked at Ford’s River Rouge complex for 32 years. He is a Vietnam veteran who graduated from the Center for Creative Studies in Detroit in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in glassblowing.

Helm’s work is made with colored glass cane that he makes, fuses together and then grinds and polishes for the finished product. Check out his creative creations for yourself at University Hospital!
