Registration is now open for the 2017 Infant and Pediatric Specialty Nutrition Conference hosted by Patient Food and Nutrition Services at Michigan Medicine C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and Von Voigtlander Women’s Hospital.

New this year, department shortcodes will be accepted for program registration for employees across Michigan Medicine.

The event will be held in Ann Arbor on Nov. 13 and 14 and is open to registered dietitians, registered nurses, physicians, pharmacists, allied health professionals, educators, dietetic students, dietetic interns and all other health care professionals interested in the nutritional implications of infant and pediatric specialty nutrition.

The primary objectives of the conference are:

  • To review best patient care practices and recent advances in nutrition therapies in infant and pediatric specialty areas.
  • To educate attendees to promote a better understanding of the importance of optimal and timely nutrition therapies on patient outcomes, length of hospital stays and improved quality of life of a child with both acute and chronic illness.
  • To provide the attendees with knowledge to help them make evidenced based clinical decisions for the optimal nutrition benefit of their infant and pediatric patients.
