Register now: Orientation for Clinical Investigators

After overwhelmingly positive feedback from previous sessions, the Clinical Trial Support Office, in partnership with MICHR, is offering fall sessions of its Orientation for Clinical Investigators.

The program is catered toward early-career faculty or experienced faculty members new to clinical research at U-M, though the program is open to all clinical research faculty. This 3.5 hour orientation provides participants with:

  • An orientation to the information, resources and tools necessary to navigate the university’s research enterprise
  • A basic understanding of what is needed to comply with regulations related to clinical research

Participants will learn about IRBMED, regulatory affairs, conflict of interest, audits and monitoring, ClinicalTrials.gov, clinical research finances and U-M resources for clinical trials research, including the Clinical Trials Support Units.

There are two dates offered for this free course (Please attend only one session):

  • Oct. 3: 8 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., Kahn Auditorium, BSRB (Register here)
  • Oct. 30: 7:30 a.m. – 11 a.m., Seminar Rooms A, B, C, BSRB (Register here)
