Plan ahead and expect delays: Kipke Dr. construction project

Please be advised that a paving project is expected to affect traffic on the Ross Athletic Campus on Wednesday, July 26.

Plan ahead and expect delays and alert patients if they will be traveling in the area.

Here’s what you need to know:

• The Kipke Drive-East Stadium Boulevard intersection is expected to be closed to all vehicular traffic for asphalt paving from mid-morning until late afternoon on Wednesday.

• Local access only to Kipke Drive and adjacent U-M parking lots and buildings will be maintained from the north via Greene Street and East Keech Avenue during the closure.

• Drivers on Kipke Drive will not be able to exit to or enter from East Stadium Boulevard and South Industrial Highway during the project, although access to the U-M Golf Course driveway will be maintained from the east

• U-M bus routes are not anticipated to be affected.

The remainder of East Stadium Boulevard from South Main Street to Kipke Drive is expected to reopen to all vehicular traffic in the first week of August.
