Please be advised that two special events are expected to cause several road closures in Ann Arbor on Tuesday, July 4.
Plan ahead and expect delays and alert patients if they will be traveling in the area.
Here’s what you need to know:
The following streets are expected to be closed from 4 a.m. until 11 a.m. for the Firecracker 5K:
- Main Street from William to Liberty
- Liberty from Main to State
- William from Main to State
- State from Liberty to Monroe
- Monroe from State to Tappan
- Tappan from Monroe to South University
- South University from State to South Forest
The following streets are expected to be closed from 8 a.m. until no later than 1 p.m. for the Ann Arbor Jaycees Fourth of July parade:
- South State St. from South University to East Washington
- East Liberty from South State to South Main
- South Main from Liberty to William
- East William from South Main to South State
- South Fourth Ave. from East Washington to Packard
- South Fifth Ave. from East Washington to East William
- South Division from East Washington to East Jefferson
- Thompson from East Liberty to East William
- Maynard from East Liberty to East Jefferson
- East Jefferson from Thompson to Maynard
- North University from South State to Thayer
- South Main from Washington to Liberty
- West Liberty from Main to the alley between Ashley and Main
- Thompson between William and Jefferson
