Michigan Medicine launches new device purchasing site
This week, Health Information Technology & Services (HITS) launched a new device purchasing website for computers and hardware orders within Michigan Medicine. The new site is to be used for all computer hardware purchases that, effective FY18 (July 1), are now operationally funded.
The outgoing PDS3 system (Product Delivery System, version 3), which focused on capital project funding, was closed to new computer hardware requests on June 23.

Michigan Medicine units are now able to place orders directly through the site, making HITS responsible for intake and fulfillment.
