Call for Nominations – 2017 AHA Heart Ball Awards

The American Heart Association is currently accepting nominations for its 2017 Washtenaw County Heart Ball Awards:

  • The Coeur D’Or (Heart of Gold) Award for Excellence is given to an individual, who through his/her professional accomplishments, has made great strides in the advancement of the American Heart Association.
  • The Cor Vitae (Heart of Life) Award for Community Service is given to an individual who, through tireless dedication to their community, demonstrates love and caring for his or her fellow man; who, through his or her giving and support, enhances the quality of life for many; and who, through his or her generosity, has played a significant role in advancing the mission of the AHA.
  • The Young Investigator Award for Excellence is given to an individual, who through his/her an early career accomplishment has made great strides in the advancement of the American Heart Association.

These awards are not reserved for physicians – nursing and support staff are eligible as well.  Additional information, along with a nomination form, can be found on the event's website.
