U-M Health System COO to serve on MHA, AHA boards

Tony Denton, senior vice president and chief operating officer of the U-M Health System, was recently reappointed to the board of the Michigan Health and Hospital Association. He will serve a three-year term.

The MHA represents all community hospitals in Michigan and advocates for its members in both legislative and regulatory arenas.

Denton will also soon be appointed as an alternate delegate for the American Hospital Association Regional Policy Board. The AHA serves as the voice of hospitals and health systems and provides input on public policy proposals.

Denton will serve a three-year term in this role as well.
