Please be advised that upcoming construction projects are expected to cause road closures around Ann Arbor over the next few days.
Plan ahead and expect delays and alert patients if they will be traveling in the area.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Through Wednesday, June 21, road closures are scheduled to take place on South Forest Ave., between Washtenaw and South University, for an emergency water main installation. From 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. each day, a flagperson will direct northbound South Forest Ave. traffic west on South University and north on Church. South University will be open to westbound traffic during the project.
- Through Tuesday, June 27, the intersection of East Liberty and South Division is expected to be closed eastbound for resurfacing work. Traffic will be detoured from one block to the west and directed to use South Fifth Ave., East William and Thompson St. One-way traffic westbound will be maintained through the work area.
- Between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, South Main St. between William and Packard is expected to be detoured for crane work. Southbound traffic will be detoured west on East William, south on Fourth Ave., west on Packard and back to South Main. Northbound traffic will be detoured east on Packard, north on Fourth Ave., west on East William and back to South Main St. Pedestrians will be detoured to the east side of South Main St. during the work.
