PFANS earns quarterly hand hygiene honor

Patient Food and Nutrition Services — or PFANS — was recently named the quarterly hand hygiene honor roll prize winner.

The department earned high marks in hand hygiene compliance in each of the first three months of 2017, earning a spot on the Infection Prevention and Epidemiology honor roll every time. A random drawing from all the departments named to the honor roll was used to select the winner.

Congratulations to PFANS and to all Michigan Medicine employees who make hand hygiene compliance a priority — helping keep patients and colleagues safe at the academic medical center.
