Plan ahead and expect delays: Area construction projects

June 15, 2017  //  FOUND IN: Updates & Resources

Please be advised that two maintenance projects are expected to cause lane closures or partial parking lot closures around Ann Arbor over the next few days.

Plan ahead and expect delays and alert patients if they will be traveling in the area.

Here’s what you need to know:

Through Saturday, periodic lane closures are expected to take place on South Forest Ave. between Washtenaw and South University for an emergency water main installation.

Between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. daily, flaggers will direct northbound South Forest traffic west on South University to north on Church.

South University will be re-opened to westbound traffic during the project and pedestrian traffic will be maintained on one side of the street at all times.

Additionally, a tree trimming project is scheduled for the Glazier Way (NC51) parking lot on Friday, June 16.

The work — which is intended to remove foliage that may impede the effectiveness of lighting in the area — will take place on the island that crosses the lot from west to east. It is expected to cause 12 spaces to be closed

Thank you for your patience and cooperation!
