DLHS Chair Charles Friedman elected to first IAHSI

Charles P. Friedman, PhD, chair of the “first in the nation” U-M Department of Learning Health Sciences, was recently elected by The International Medical Informatics Association (IMIA) to become part of the inaugural class of the International Academy of Health Sciences Informatics (IAHSI). Formed to recognize expertise in biomedical and health informatics, the academy will foster collaboration and training among internationally distinguished members to be inducted during the 16th World Congress on Medical and Health Informatics in Hangzhou, China from 21st -25th August 2017.
