Discuss retirement planning with financial experts

The university is providing several upcoming opportunities to discuss retirement planning with financial experts.

The options are perfect for Michigan Medicine staff members who are considering retirement now or in the near future.

Central Campus Retirement Class

This class is designed for faculty and staff who are considering retirement within the next few years. Among the topics covered include retirement eligibility, benefits in retirement, retiree contributions to health care, retirement income options and retiree privileges.

When: 3 p.m. – 4 p.m., Monday, May 15; or 3 p.m. – 4 p.m., Monday, June 19
Where: Student Activities Building, Maize and Blue Auditorium, 515 E. Jefferson St., Ann Arbor

North Campus Drop-in Retirement “Help Desk”

A retirement counselor will be available on North Campus to assist faculty and staff with retirement questions on a drop-in basis on two dates in May. No registration is required.

When: Noon – 3 p.m., Thursday, May 4; or noon – 3 p.m., Tuesday, May 23
