Last day to register for Adolescent Health Conference

Registration closes today, April 10, for the 2017 Conference on Adolescent Health: Translating Research into Practice.

The event — which takes place on April 24-25 at the Ann Arbor Marriott Ypsilanti at Eagle Crest hotel — is intended for medical professionals (physicians, NPs, PAs, RNs), other health professionals (health education, public health, nutrition, social work, etc.), researchers and students.

Participants will acquire skills and gain knowledge of the most recent and evidence-based practices to meet the unique needs of adolescents and young adults. Sessions include topics on adolescent substance use, affirming sexual health services for LGBTQ youth, sexting, adolescent vaccination barriers, sex positivity, digital dating abuse, concussions and other hot topics in adolescent-centered care.
