UH/CVC employees: Share input and ideas at upcoming town halls
Employee input is a critical component when identifying priorities and goals for any institution. Michigan Medicine’s UH/CVC leadership team wants to hear from faculty and staff at a pair of upcoming town hall discussions on March 20 and 21 in the MCHC Auditorium.
“All UH/CVC faculty and staff, regardless of their role, play a part in the delivery of care to our patients — and their voices are extremely important as we set next year’s institutional priorities,” said Shon Dwyer, RN, UH/CVC executive director. “No one has more valuable insight when it comes to identifying and tackling these priorities than faculty and staff.”
Dwyer, along with Marge Calarco, Ph.D., RN, UH/CVC chief nursing officer and Michigan Medicine chief nursing executive and Dee Fenner, M.D., UH/CVC chief clinical officer, will provide updates on recent organizational changes, current progress on initiatives and priorities, and solicit input from attendees to help set UH/CVC priorities and goals to begin working on this summer.
Employees are encouraged to work with their managers/leaders to determine when/if they are able to attend:
- Monday, March 20, 11 a.m. – noon, MCHC Auditorium
- Tuesday, March 21, 6 p.m. – 7 p.m., MCHC Auditorium
Light snacks and beverages will be served. Attendees should come prepared to share ideas and ask questions.
Both sessions will be live-streamed for those who can’t attend in person and viewers will be able to text questions and answers to the presenters.
“We hope our faculty and staff take advantage of this opportunity to help shape our direction and outcomes,” Dwyer said. “We’re excited to hear their thoughts and ideas.”
