Join your colleagues and other members of the U-M community in making a difference for patients and families affected by cancer.

On April 8, more than 2,000 people will descend on U-M’s Palmer Field for MRelay, part of the American Cancer Society’s nationwide Relay for Life. It’s a 24-hour celebration and the world’s largest fundraising event to save lives from cancer.

MRelay is the 2nd-largest university-run Relay for Life event in the U.S. in terms of funds raised. With your help, U-M can reach its goal of raising $415,000 and take over as the top university in the nation when it comes to fighting cancer.

Want to get involved? Form a team! Any size team is acceptable, though between 10-15 people is ideal. It’s easy to sign up on the MRelay website. The website also includes instructions on how to raise money for this important cause.

Then on April 8, show up with your team, family and friends ready to walk and be inspired. The event is like a carnival, with games, activities, performances and speeches to keep you busy for 24 hours — or for as long as you’d like.
