Social Login pilot makes call for participation

February 1, 2017  //  FOUND IN: Updates & Resources

Michigan Medicine’s Health Information Technology & Services is seeking a group or unit that wishes to allow non-U-M clients (patients, volunteers, etc.) to use their social media accounts (Facebook, Google, Twitter, etc.) to easily access their Michigan Medicine technology resources.

To participate in the pilot program, the group from Michigan Medicine would partner with the Social Login Project Team. Technology support and resources will be provided to the selected unit to configure its system for secure social login.

This pilot is a component of a larger U-M IT strategic initiative to move to a single identity access management platform.

Please contact Chris Chapman at by Monday, Feb. 6 if you are interested or to learn more about this opportunity to improve your unit’s customer service!
