Early-bird registration ends soon for Integrative Health Course

Early-bird rates are available through Friday, Feb. 17 for the “Creating a Space for Wellness: Integrative Health in Primary Care” course to be held March 16-17. The course is hosted by the Department of Family Medicine in partnership with the Adolescent Health Initiative.

With the theme of eating for health and a focus on improving health and wellness, the course is designed for collaboration. Attendees will explore integrative approaches to a variety of conditions and participate in hands-on workshops. This conference will train health care professionals to move beyond pharmaceutical approaches, teaching them to work collaboratively with patients toward optimal health. Sessions are taught by a diverse faculty who will provide a space where health care providers from many different backgrounds can learn together.

The conference will be held at the Kensington Hotel in Ann Arbor and U-M faculty and staff receive a 25 percent discount by using the discount code “2016UM” at checkout.
