Attend spring orientation for clinical researchers

After overwhelmingly positive feedback from the 2016 sessions, the Clinical Trial Support Office, in partnership with MICHR, is offering a spring session of Orientation for Clinical Investigators.

The program is open to all clinical research faculty. However, the training is mandatory for clinical researchers new to the U-M Medical School and Medical School faculty new to conducting clinical trials.

This 3.5-hour orientation provides participants with:

  • An orientation to information, resources, and tools necessary to navigate the university’s research enterprise
  • A basic understanding of what is needed to comply with regulations related to clinical research.

Participants will learn about IRBMED, regulatory affairs, conflict of interest, audits and monitoring,, clinical research finances, and U-M resources for clinical trials research, including the Clinical Trials Support Units.

The session will be held from 8 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. in the Taubman Health Sciences Library, room 2901.
