Register now for 2017 Conference on Adolescent Health
The Adolescent Health Initiative is pleased to announce the 2017 Conference on Adolescent Health: Translating Research into Practice, to be held April 24-25. Registration is now open with early-bird discounts available.
The Conference on Adolescent Health is a multidisciplinary event with an intended audience of medical professions (physicians, NPs, PAs, RNs), other health professionals (health education, public health, nutrition, social work, etc.), researchers and students.
Participants will acquire skills and gain knowledge of the most recent and evidence-based practices to meet the unique needs of adolescents and young adults. Sessions will include topics on adolescent substance use, affirming sexual health services for LGBTQ youth, sexting, adolescent vaccination barriers, sex positivity, digital dating abuse, concussion and other hot topics in adolescent-centered care.
The conference will be held at the Ann Arbor Marriot Ypsilanti at Eagle Crest hotel.
Early-bird registration rates are available through March 10. Attendees have the flexibility to register for individual days or the entire conference.
