Plan ahead: Project to limit service on elevator bank #8
January 24, 2017 //
FOUND IN: Updates & Resources
Please be advised that a construction project will close elevator bank #8 on levels 4 and 5 of UH South for the next few months. Plan ahead and find an alternate route if you use those elevators during your work day.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Construction work will begin today, Jan. 24, and is expected to last through May 31.
- In addition to the closure of elevator bank #8, access to the portion of UH South formerly known as MCHC on levels 4 and 5 will be blocked off by temporary walls to contain the construction site.
- Individuals traveling to levels 4 or 5 of UH South must use elevator bank #9.
- Two of the three lactation rooms — F4215 and F4216 — will be closed during the construction work. One lactation room will remain open — F4218 — and will be accessible via elevator bank #9.
- See the above graphic for more information on the elevator locations, and signs will be posted.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation!
