FOUND IN: Updates & Resources
The Medical School STRIDE Committee provides information and advice about practices that will maximize the likelihood that diverse, well-qualified candidates for faculty, fellowship and residency positions will be identified, and, if selected for offers, recruited to U-M.
The committee leads workshops for faculty and administrators involved in the selection, recruitment and hiring of such candidates. Much of the information provided in these workshops is also relevant to the retention and promotion of these individuals.
Please join this workshop, which involves:
- The findings of a decade’s worth of research and thinking about its application to faculty searches
- Michigan-specific best practices and successful approaches to effective searching
The workshop will take place:
- When: 8 a.m. – 10 a.m., Monday, Jan. 30, 2017 (Breakfast will be provided)
- Where: Danto Auditorium, Frankel Cardiovascular Center
