JDRF One Walk Team Top Fundraiser

The Michigan Medicine Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Walk Team was recently awarded the honor of being the top 2016 corporate fundraising team for our area’s JDRF One Walk held this past September in Dexter. In an effort to fund research to eliminate Type 1 diabetes our walkers raised a total of $12,330. Michigan Medicine was also proud to be a Platinum Corporate Sponsor of the JDRF Walk.

Congratulations and thank you to all of our teams, team captains and Michigan Medicine leadership for supporting this worthwhile cause. Having a significant visible presence at this walk is very important to the Type 1 diabetes families we serve at Michigan Medicine and we look forward to supporting this important community event again next year.
