Parking near Crisler Center on basketball game nights

Health system employees who park near Crisler Center should be advised that at the end of men's home basketball night games, the U-M commuter bus cannot get all the way south to the SC7 bus stop. On those nights, police convert Greene St. to northbound traffic only to empty the basketball parking lots safely and efficiently. Therefore, the last southbound bus stop at those times is on Hoover St. at Greene St.

There are four remaining weeknight men's basketball games: Dec. 22, Jan. 4, Jan. 26 and Feb. 16. 

If you are likely to be on the bus heading back to your car after work at the times listed below, you are strongly encouraged to park in the SC36 lot (the orange lot at Keech and Main). You will have a much shorter walk from the bus to your car.

Here are the dates and times to keep in mind:

• Thursday, Dec. 22: Heading back to your car between approximately 8:45 p.m. – 9:15 p.m.

• Wednesday, Jan. 4: Heading back to your car between approximately 10:15 p.m. – 10:45 p.m.

• Thursday, Jan. 26: Heading back to your car between approximately 10:45 p.m. – 11:15 p.m.

• Thursday, Feb. 16: Heading back to your car between approximately 8:45 p.m. – 9:15 p.m.
