New name, new outlook: Organization to get new handle

UMHS will be getting a new name next month that better reflects our three-part mission: patient care, education and research.

The name change will also help distinguish our academic medical center from other health care providers in the area who do not have the medical education or clinical care research capabilities that U-M has.
