December 13, 2016  //  FOUND IN: Accolades and Milestones

On behalf of the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation O&P admin team, we would like to congratulate Chuck Greene and Mark Taylor on their upcoming retirements.

Chuck was the first Certified Pedorthist hired by the UMOPC. He began his career in O&P on December 4th, 1995. In addition to seeing thousands of patients, Chuck was instrumental in the installation of AMFIT into the department. Chuck also completed research on the efficacy of AMFIT custom foot orthoses in the treatment of plantar fasciitis, which played a role in the health system’s decision to cover foot orthoses for staff who need them. Chuck will retire December 23, 2016. Thanks for all of your years of service Chuck!

Mark was hired as the clinical/technical director in O&P on August 23, 1993. He has been seeing prosthetic and orthotic patients since this time. He has also been instrumental in the success of the Post-Polio Clinics here at the UMOPC. Thank you Mark for all of your years of service to your patients and the UMOPC.
