Funding opportunity available for integrated care projects
The Michigan Mental Health Integration Partnership — or MIP — is now accepting proposals for the MIP Scholars Award, a new funding opportunity for Fiscal Year 2018.
The award will support U-M faculty who are interested in implementing and evaluating mental health services or clinical interventions that promote integrated care and that seek to improve access to evidence-based practices for lower-income and Medicaid-eligible populations with behavioral health care needs in the State of Michigan.
Awardees will receive up to $50,000, with the opportunity to match the award 1:1 with Medicaid funds from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. That means the total award can reach $100,000.
The deadline for proposals is Jan. 23, 2017. For more information on the funding opportunity, including eligibility requirements, click here.
