UMHS one of metro Detroit’s best and brightest

UMHS was honored as one of Metro Detroit’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For on Sept. 23.

For the 11th time since 2005, UMHS has been named one of metro Detroit’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For.

Our organization was lauded by the National Association of Business Resources for displaying a commitment to excellence in human resources and employee enrichment. A survey of staff reflected our goals of creating a strong environment when it comes to communication, work-life balance, employee education, diversity, recognition and retention.

“While our organization is honored to be among metro Detroit’s most select companies, we would not have earned this honor without our employees,” said Joseph Fournier, UMHS chief human resources officer. “Their talent, hard work, dedication and feedback regarding what we can do better makes our organization stronger and primed for future success.”

According to its website, the Best and Brightest initiative “strives to recognize the most influential, trend-setting companies across the country.”

UMHS was formally honored as one of these trend-setting companies on Sept. 23 at an awards ceremony hosted by the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center.
