The U-M Depression Center’s M-SPAN,  or Military Support Programs and Networks, team recently launched a crowdfunding campaign to keep one of its cornerstone programs, Buddy-to-Buddy, alive.

The Buddy-to-Buddy program provides a trusted connection for individuals seeking assistance to reach much-needed resources. The program connects Michigan’s service members and veterans with trained peers who can help them overcome reservations and eliminate barriers to seeking help.

Since its inception in 2009, Buddy-to-Buddy has provided more than 3,000 service members and veterans with peer support and connections to key resources to improve their quality of life. This fall, funding for the Buddy-to-Buddy program will no longer be available. We need your help to keep this critical program in place and continue to support thousands of Michigan veterans and service members.
