Westbound Maiden Lane to close

Please be advised that a portion of Maiden Lane (between Maiden Lane Ct. and Island Dr.) will undergo reconstruction beginning Wednesday. 

The westbound lane of Maiden Lane is scheduled to be closed to traffic and is scheduled to re-open at the end of the day on Monday. Eastbound traffic will be maintained during this time.

Here is what you should expect:

• Westbound traffic will be detoured around the construction work zone/closure area using Fuller Road, Glen Avenue, East Huron Street, North Division Street, and Broadway Street.
• Island Drive traffic will be directed to use Island Drive Court and Nielsen Court. 
• Local traffic access to residences and places of business along Maiden Lane will be maintained in both directions west of the closure area.

The U-M bus routes for Wall St. will remain the same. Please see the U-M Parking and Transportation Services website for other detours to U-M bus routes.
