Update on removal of Novell from workstations
Please be aware of a recent change to accessing Novell shared drives.
With the upgrade of our shared file system from Novell to NAS, a new blue N icon replaces the red N previously used to access Novell shared drives.
What you need to know
Some laptops and Kiosk mode machines may continue to display the red N in the start menu or in the system tray at the bottom right of your screen. If you click the red N, you will get an error message. Users will now only be able to connect to the file share system by clicking the blue N.
The start menu is dynamically built and will display any applications frequently used. If you see the red N there and want to remove it from the list, simply right click and select that option from the menu:
