ABC News recently shared insights from Brad Uren, M.D., in its Fourth of July story, “Tales from the E.R.”
Dr. Uren encouraged revelers not to look into a dud firework, and avoid lighting fireworks off after consuming alcohol.
“Have a designated lighter,” he told ABC News. “You wouldn’t get behind the wheel if you had too much to drink, but a lot of people think they can operate fireworks.”
