July Healthy Eating Tip: Beat The Summer Slump

Did you know that summer is the time of year that kids tend to gain the most weight? While children are supposed to grow all year, sometimes they gain too much weight while they are out of school. This increased weight gain is often brought on by what is known as the “summer slump.”
